This book is a collection of the journals of author / sailor James Frederick from his first solo sailing trip to the Channel Islands of California. Departing on December 23rd 2017, just 5 months after he brought his newly purchased 1965 Alberg 30 sailboat back from the dead and had her sailing once again.

The trip was documented on the author's youtube channel and through his "A Stern View Podcast" and is now the journals are available in print as a perfect bound 6" x 9" full color book.

The book is 133 pages with over 60 color photographs and Captain's Log notes.
